www.history.com/activate – How to Activate Your Device on the History Network

Do you know you can watch your favorite program on history.com? The first thing you need to do is visit the activation web portal at history.com/activate. You should then go through the short verification process of their subscription from their Television producers. Once the activation is successful, your device is now ready for online streaming.

How do I activate my device on history.com?

History offers you three device types. They are Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV and Roku. You also need to have an account with your Television providers’ website to enable you to complete the activation process.

Proceed to the History Authorize activation page, which is https://www.history.com/activate

Choose your device type from Amazon Fire TV, Roku or Apple TV. You should then select your TV provider from the list. You will find the following ones:

  • Hulu
  • Xfinity
  • Philo
  • AT&T U-verse
  • DIRECTIVE
  • Spectrum
  • DIRECTIVE NOW
  • COX
  • dish
  • Mediacom
  • optimum
  • Verizon
  • Frontier

If your provider is not among the above ones, you should check the ‘More Providers’ drop-down list. Click on it to see the complete list of History’s Television providers that are currently available.

The next step is to enter your Activation code.

Visit your provider’s website to verify your account by clicking the “CONTINUE” button.

Contact their customer support is easy, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on “FAQ/CONTACT US.” That will take you to the History Support page where can submit a ticket using the zendesk.com ticketing system.

    I want to activate my roku but I put my dtv email and password and it go to the app on my phone and dont gave me a place to put the code in for the roku.

    I want the history channel- I have Roku and normal “Hulu”. Not Hulu live

    I thought I could pay $5.99a mo for this service but it looks like thst isn’t an option?
