The sound of Silents
The San Francisco Silent Film Festival opens in just a few days, which reminded us that we spotted its Executive Director, Stacey Wisnia, with Guy Maddin (whose "My Winnipeg" opens theaters in a few weeks) together during the SF International Film Festival this past year. Maddin will be introducing the SF Silent Film Festival’s Director’s Pick, Tod Browning’s The Unknown. More at SF Silent FF’s web site.
