Marc Huestis’s “Movies that Matter” featured Mary Badham on stage at the Castro, speaking about her role as Scout in “To Kill a Mockingbird,” and her role as Scout in real life. Said Badham, “I was a tomboy deluxe. I still am. Tonight I’m all froufrou, but if you see me every day, it’s jeans and an old nasty t-shirt.
