Men behind the monster

The Orphanage’s Webster Colcord, Animation Supervisor, handles the monster’s mask, with Creature Supervisor Corey Rosen and Arin Finger, Visual Effects Producer, in the background, as the trio describe their work on “The Host.” SF International Film Festival programmer Sean Uyehara asked the questions: “Do you know when you’re working on something good as opposed to something not so good?” To which Colcord responded: “I’ve polished a lot of turds to a very high gloss!” Rosen added, “When you work on something you enjoy, it’s special.” (Photo by Laura Irvine)
