Humor in Film Award
SF Film Society Executive Director Graham Leggat announced last Tuesday the establishment of a new annual audience award donated by producer Ron Merk (right) in memoriam of his late partner. The first Chris Holter Humor in Film Award and $2,500 cash prize will be presented at the 50th SFIFF to the filmmaker whose film (short, documentary or feature, in any genre or technique, including animation) portrays the human condition with the most humor and self-affirmation.
