All hail the Queen
A line of festival-goers broke out into spontaneous applause at the arrival of Dame Helen Mirren, being honored by Mill Valley, and visiting with “The Queen.” She spoke with journalists as well as audiences, and looked fabulous in a purple party dress, matched with killer three-inch leopard-print heels. First words to her journalist fans in the hospitality suite set up for a chat at the Smith Rafael Theatre? “I feel like I’m at a meeting of Alcoholics Anonymous.” On dressing like the Queen, Mirren shared the fact that padding had to be added to her breasts and hips to create the right shape.
