Director Finn Taylor’s father, Tom Taylor, came out from the VAMC Nursing Home to join his son for the screening of “The Darwin Awards” at the Roxie. Asked if this was his favorite of his son’s films, he said, “I learn more each time … it has a very sad, but clever, humor.” After being shown the photo of himself I just took, a spry Taylor joked, “I need to lose weight.” (Photo by Susan Gerhard)
