SF Chronicle: "S.F., L.A. German film festivals merging"
"Berlin & Beyond, the popular festival of German-language films sponsored by the Goethe-Institut San Francisco, is merging with Los Angeles’ German Currents Film Festival to create a single West Coast event, according to the Goethe institutes of both cities," reports Walter Addiego. "The San Francisco festival has traditionally taken place in January. The new event will run in the fall, beginning next year." More at SFGate.
