SF Chronicle: "Longtime head of Frameline to step down"
“In the movie business, 28 years is several lifetimes, and that’s why it’s major news that Michael Lumpkin, programmer and former director of Frameline — the group behind the San Francisco International Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Film Festival — is leaving the organization after next year’s event,” writes Walter Addiego. “Lumpkin served as executive director for 22 of those years.
